Programs That Grow With Your Child

A Bigger Beginning at Every Stage

At The Learning Experience, we believe early education should do more than fill the day. It should help children feel safe, capable, curious, and excited about what they can do next.

Our programs are designed for children from 6 weeks through private kindergarten, with age-appropriate learning experiences that support academic foundations, social-emotional development, physical growth, communication, creativity, and independence. Every classroom is built around one important idea: children learn best when they feel known, encouraged, and actively involved.

From a baby’s first sensory discoveries to a kindergartener’s first steps toward first-grade readiness, we provide a nurturing learning environment where purposeful play and hands-on exploration work together.

Our Early Education Programs

Children develop quickly during their first years, and each stage brings new needs, abilities, questions, and milestones. Our programs are structured to meet children where they are while helping them build the confidence and skills to move forward.

Through The Learning Experience’s proprietary L.E.A.P.® curriculum—short for Learning Experience Academic Program—children engage in experiences that support language and literacy, academics, enrichment, physical development, character growth, wellness, and social connection.

Infant Care | 6 Weeks–15 Months

Your baby’s earliest experiences matter. Our infant care program provides a warm, responsive environment where teachers focus on nurturing relationships, consistent routines, sensory exploration, movement, communication, and developmental progress.

For infants, learning happens through everyday moments: hearing a familiar voice, reaching for a new texture, responding to music, practicing tummy time, sharing smiles, and beginning to understand that their needs will be met with care.

Our infant classrooms are designed to support early growth through:

Responsive, relationship-based care

Age-appropriate feeding, rest, and play routines

Sensory activities that encourage discovery

Songs, stories, music, and language exposure

Fine- and gross-motor movement opportunities

Early social interaction in a caring group setting

Ongoing communication between families and teachers

As babies become more mobile, alert, and expressive, teachers provide meaningful opportunities for them to explore safely and build early confidence. Parents can feel reassured knowing their child is receiving individualized attention in an environment centered on care, consistency, and healthy development.

Toddler Care | 15 Months–2 Years

Toddlers are busy, determined, and eager to discover how the world works. They are developing language, mobility, opinions, independence, and the beginnings of friendship. Our toddler care program embraces this exciting stage with patient guidance, engaging activities, and predictable routines.

At The Learning Center, toddlers learn through movement, play, repetition, music, stories, art, hands-on exploration, and meaningful interactions with trusted teachers. We help children practice expressing needs, following simple directions, participating in group activities, and navigating early social experiences.

Toddler learning may include:

Vocabulary-building through songs, stories, and conversation

Movement and active play that support coordination

Sensory materials, art, and open-ended discovery

Early routines for meals, rest, clean-up, and transitions

Foundational sharing, turn-taking, and communication skills

Opportunities to make choices and build independence

Encouragement through new milestones and daily accomplishments

This is a stage full of “I do it myself” moments. Our teachers support that growing independence while providing the security, structure, and encouragement toddlers need to thrive.

Twos Program

Two-year-olds are becoming more expressive, more social, and more confident in their abilities. They are learning to use words, test ideas, form friendships, and participate in a classroom community. Our Twos program provides a supportive bridge between toddlerhood and preschool learning.

Children in this age group benefit from structure without losing the freedom to move, imagine, play, and explore. Teachers use developmentally appropriate activities to help children grow in communication, early literacy awareness, emotional expression, self-help skills, and cooperative play.

Our Twos program focuses on:

Language development and conversation

Listening, following routines, and participating in group time

Early concepts such as colors, shapes, numbers, and sorting

Dramatic play, music, art, and sensory activities

Emotional awareness and positive behavior guidance

Independence with age-appropriate classroom tasks

Friendship skills, sharing, and taking turns

Physical play that develops coordination and confidence

Children are encouraged to ask questions, try new activities, and celebrate progress. Whether a child is learning to name emotions, put away materials, participate in a song, or work alongside peers, every small accomplishment helps create a stronger foundation for preschool.

Preschool | Threes

Preschool is where children’s curiosity begins to take center stage. Three-year-olds are ready to explore language, early math concepts, stories, creativity, friendship, science, and the world around them in more intentional ways.

Our Threes program blends learning and play to help children develop the skills needed for future classroom success. Teachers introduce concepts through hands-on experiences rather than relying on passive instruction. Children may investigate a science activity, act out a favorite story, build with classroom materials, practice writing marks and letters, or work together on a creative project.

Preschool learning experiences may include:

Early literacy, storytelling, vocabulary, and print awareness

Number recognition, counting, patterns, and sorting

STEM-inspired building, experimenting, and problem-solving

Art, music, imaginative play, and creative expression

Fine-motor activities that support early writing skills

Social-emotional learning, empathy, and communication

Group participation, classroom routines, and responsibility

Active movement and outdoor play

At this age, children are beginning to see themselves as learners. Our teachers help them develop the confidence to say, “I can try,” “I have an idea,” and “Can you show me how?”

Pre-K | Fours

Pre-K is an important year of growth, preparation, and possibility. Our Fours program helps children strengthen the academic, social, emotional, and independent-living skills that support a confident transition into kindergarten.

While kindergarten readiness includes early reading, writing, math, and problem-solving, it also includes much more. Children benefit from knowing how to participate in a group, communicate needs, manage transitions, listen to instructions, work through challenges, and build positive relationships with peers and adults.

Our Pre-K program is designed to support:

Letter recognition, phonics, and early reading readiness

Writing practice, name writing, journaling, and fine-motor development

Number sense, counting, patterns, measurement, and early operations

Science observation, experimentation, and inquiry-based learning

Social studies concepts, community awareness, and cultural learning

Self-regulation, perseverance, communication, and teamwork

Independence with routines, materials, and classroom responsibilities

Confidence speaking, sharing ideas, and solving problems

Children learn through purposeful projects, teacher-guided lessons, active play, enrichment, and hands-on discovery. Our goal is not simply to help children memorize facts. It is to help them become engaged learners who feel prepared for the next classroom and proud of what they can accomplish.

Why Our Programs Matter

The earliest years of education shape how children see learning, relationships, challenges, and themselves. A strong early learning experience can help children develop the academic foundations they need while also giving them room to play, move, imagine, create, and grow.

At The Learning Experience, every program is designed to support the whole child. That means we look beyond one measure of success. We want children to build knowledge, but we also want them to build confidence. We want them to recognize letters and numbers, but we also want them to learn how to communicate, cooperate, persist, and care for others.

Families choose us because they are looking for a school that combines:

  • Purposeful, age-appropriate learning
  • Hands-on exploration and creative discovery
  • Academic foundations that grow with each stage
  • Social-emotional skill development
  • Classroom routines that build independence
  • Caring teacher relationships and family communication
  • A welcoming local school community near Suwanee, Buford, and Lawrenceville
